all with brass pommels and wooden grips, steel cross-guards and scabbards, with inspection marks to quillions and ricassos, and arsenal engraved to blade back, one St Etienne arsenal dated Juillet 1878, blade with some staining, hilt worn, discoloured and rusted, scabbard rusted; one Deny Paris arsenal dated 1881, blade good with some rusting and pitting to steel on hilt and scabbard; one St Etienne arsenal dated Mai 1880, blade good, brass discoloured, some surface rust to hilt and scabbard; one Deny Paris arsenal, again dated 1881, light wear but staining to steel surfaces
